Google vs. Meetup.com?

Joel linked to a funny recruiting page that matched working at Google versus working at Meetup.com.  It got me thinking about the reasons people work for various companies.  I'm sure the reasons are different for each person.  Some people go for the money, some for better career prospects, some just to have a place to work and I'm sure that benefits impact this as well.

So, with all of the varying benefit packages (not just Medical/Dental/Etc.), I'm surprised that no job search company has a "Compare Company" option that allows you to do side-by-side comparisons of life at different companies.  That I think would help a lot of companies, but I'm sure it would hurt others.

But then again, those companies that it hurt, maybe it would inspire them to get provide a better 360 degree service to their employees.

Thoughts?
