Humdrum Weekend
I had a rather slow and uneventful 4 day weekend. Friday, I parked myself in front of my PC and hammered out my Quick Link plugin for Windows Live Writer. Saturday, I didn't do much of anything except finished my latest book (reading, not writing) - Flight of the Nighthawks and then some odds and ends. Sunday, I went to my parent's place to socialize with them and have some of my dad's (soon to be) famous pulled-pork sandwiches. And then today, I finally sat down and did some work and had a day with my girlfriend.
Overall, it was fairly laid back. When I think of all of the things I could have done this weekend, it almost seems a waste, but seeing as classes start up again this week (and as such, my workload), this was time very well spent. :o)
On a side note, the 2 Windows Live Writer plugins that I've written this weekend have gotten a little talk-back on 2 sites:
Links to the articles on each are below, along with a current download count:

I'm now going to muscle through how settings are stored and retrieved in the Windows Live Writer client. I think I have it figured out, but alas, Live Writer is throwing an exception <sigh>. I'll figure it out and then post the updated installers. Ideas for updates to my plugins:
- ICM: Make the Moods a setting (and get them out of the xml file).
- ICM: Make the text configurable for the Moods (ie: change "Current Mood" text).
- IQL: Make the default page configurable (ie: change www.google.com to something else).
- Both: Add an "About" tab - a request from Lifeware.
Does anyone have any other wishlist items?
